On March 28th, 2024, Ateles Films gave a guest lecture on “Wildlife Filmmaking” to the students of the Master Non-Linear Narrative program at the Royal Academy of Art, invited by the renowned Maartje Nevejan.
The day was spent in the coastal dunes of Scheveningen, where students engaged and had hands-on fieldwork opportunities with Red Digital Camera in different set-ups and experiencing working in the challenging Dutch weather to find and film wildlife.
This event provided Ateles Films with a valuable opportunity to teach and share their expertise about wildlife filmmaking while also learning and listening from the younger generation.
The field day was documented by photographer Roel Backaert, who captured excellent photos of the students in action.
