In January 2023, the Ateles Films production about red foxes in the Netherlands, was broadcast on the famous NHK-1 slot “Darwin is coming’ aka ‘Darwin’s Amazing Animals”.
‘Darwin is coming’ is a 28min slot that is aimed at families during prime-time on Sundays on the first NHK public channel.
This film reached an audience exceeding 11.5 million people in the eastern part of Japan alone (Kanto region) according official sources. Fantastic news to hear that this Ateles Films production has been so widely shared in Japan.
In this film, there was also a short making-of showing the director Ana Luísa Santos and director of photography Michael Sanderson filming behind the scenes.
